To enhance the color contrast between the sky and the bright yellow sand-dunes, the use of a gradual blue B1 filter in combination with a gradual grey G2 filter was essential. While the gradual grey filter darkened the bright skies heavily, the gradual blue filter colored them with a spectacular blue tone.
